We tend to imagine financial progress as a single dramatic decision. In reality, it is usually the sum of small, unglamorous habits.

A weekly money check-in, a short pause before non-essential purchases, and one automated transfer to savings will quietly outperform most grand plans.

None of this is exciting, and that is the point. The habits that work are the ones boring enough to keep up without thinking about them.
